We had a great time at the monocoque cabin. Beautiful, peaceful and unique!
Great place to stay very unique. Would definitely be interested in visiting again. Peter was very friendly and helpful and the space is a great design. The location is fabulous, it’s out of the way and peaceful just what we wanted. However if you are planning on heading into market Drayton , for a few , then it’s worth me mentioning for the benefit of other guests that uber is not availiable in the area but also we really struggled to get a local taxi. Which in the end , after ringing several different taxi firms, we had no alternative but to walk back to the cabin which was a 40 minutes in the dark and part of which was through a cornfield which likened a scene from a horror film. How we this left us with an interesting story to tell. Obviously this was our own mistake and not a negative about the stay by any means but I just wanted to add that in so that other guests maybe able to avoid a similar situation.
beautiful little get away for my partners birthday, only went for one night but we left refreshed! the cabin is such a lovely place and it was easily the best instructions to find / get in to the place!
Great experience on a fantastic location, Peter was a friendly and helpful host. We had a lovely time.
Staying at Peter’s Monocoque Cabin was a fantastic experience. The cabin was warm and cozy, with the radiators and Biofire keeping it comfortable. The location is lovely, with great views and easy access to the canals. Nearby, there are some nice local pubs that add to the charm of the area. The interior was spacious, making it feel more like a cottage. We’ll be coming back for sure!
fantastic unique stay, lovely quiet location with local market close
Had a lovely overnight stay. Was just what was needed to rest in a beautiful peaceful place. Was a little chilly inside when we got there but soon got nice and toasty with the eco fire and heaters. Lovely shower and the composting toilet was easy to use. Great directions. Was easy to find and exactly as described.Had a lovely walk along the canal and then walked up to the Four Alls inn for dinner. You will need a torch for on the way back! Thank you for a lovely stay!
Enjoyed the cabin, description was exact, it was quirky but had everything we needed. Location was amazing. Would recommend and will hopefully be staying again in the future. Loved it.
My partner, our two dogs and myself stayed here for my birthday, it was a last minute booking & we were so lucky to have stumbled across it.The cabin is very remote so it’s peaceful, on the evening we arrived we sat outside playing the provided board games - all we heard were birds and on occasions people passing on their barges. The grounds are fully secure so our dogs had a great time exploring and running around and we were comfortable enough to let them out wander around with no worries of them getting out.The cabin itself is beautiful inside & out, we love how quirky it is & it has even converted my boyfriend to now want to stay in more remote cabins!Peter your cabin is stunning - and just to reiterate what I said at the beginning we were so lucky to have come across this x
Ideal place for a quiet weekend. Surrounded by nature and very private - if you are looking to be away from people and modern world for few days - then this is the place. Great Thanks
